Turkey's MMK Metalurji increases Q1 steel output
In the first quarter, Turkey's MMK Metalurji, a subsidiary of Russian steelmaker MMK, increased steel output on a year-on-year and quaerter-on-quarter basis to 142,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes from MMK’s operational results.
The mill was idle a year ago due to the Turkey's economic constraints and an earthquake in February.
Compared with the preceding quarter, the first quarter results increased by 15.5% from 123,000t.
