Turkey's November pig iron arrivals rise
Pig iron arrival volumes into Turkey in January-November remained above 2021 levels, as volumes rose again in November, show data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Turkish steelmakers received 73,930 tonnes of the material under HS code header 7201 in November, up 8.4% on-month but down 53.5% on-year. 11-month arrivals volumes totalled 1.28 million tonnes, up 15.3% on-year, and up 6.5% on full-year 2021, Kallanish observes.
