Turkey’s Ozbal Pipe to merge with Erciyas Pipe
Turkish pipe producer Ozbal Celik has decided to merge with Erciyas Pipe, it says in a stock exchange filing seen by Kallanish.
Although Ozbal initially decided to merge with Erciyas Pipe earlier, in 2016, that attempt was rejected by the Capital Markets Board.
The purpose of the merger is to increase productivity, raise product quality by sharing technical know-how and ensure synergy within the group, says Ozbal.
