Turkey's scrap imports increase over January-July
Turkish scrap imports rose 11% on-year in January-July, after climbing 1.6% y-o-y in January-June, Kallanish notes from statements by the Turkish Steel Producers’ Association (TCUD).
Scrap imports came in at 11.4 million tonnes for the seven months through July, and their total value grew 38% to $3.1 billion, informs the association.
