Turkey's semis imports rebound in March
Turkish semi product imports rose in March as a surge in intake from Belarus and Egypt compensated for the plunge in imports from Russia, Kallanish learns from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
March imports were up 5% on-year to 164,380 tonnes after a -19% y-o-y decline in February to 123,831t. The total average value/tonne of these imports increased to $572/t from $430/t a year earlier.
