Turkey’s steel demand to rise 9% in 2024
Turkey’s steel demand is forecast to reach 41.5 million tonnes in 2024, up by 9% on-year, but then to decline 5% on-year in 2025 to 39.4mt, worldsteel says in its April short-range outlook seen by Kallanish.
In 2023, steel demand in Turkey is estimated to have reached 38.1mt, up by 17.2% on-year.
