Turkish crude output reaches record high in July
Turkey's crude steel production increased 28% on-year to 3.34 million tonnes in July, Kallanish learns from a Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD) statement.
This is an all-time-high monthly crude steel production volume for the country, Sahap Ataman, economic affairs director at the association, says in a posting on social media.
The growth was driven by scrap-based production which surged 42% y-o-y, while iron ore-based output rose 2.8%.…
