Turkish crude steel output falls on-year in July
Turkish crude steel production dipped by -2.3% year-on-year in July, whilst January-July output rose by 2.8% on-year to 22.22 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD).
Seven-month electric arc furnace-based steel production grew by 3.5% to 15.33mt, while oxygen converter-based output managed only a 1.2% increase to 6.8mt.
