Turkish crude steel output inches up in June
Turkish crude steel production inched up 0.7% on-year in June, taking January-June output up 3.7% on-year to 18.89 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD).
Six-month electric arc furnace-based steel production rose 5.3% to 13.09mt, while oxygen converter-based output managed only a 0.3% increase to 5.8mt.
