List prices soar for Turkish domestic longs
The fall in value of the Turkish lira, caused primarily by the political rift with the US, has left its long steelmakers in a state of uncertainty.
The integrated long products manufacturer Kardemir has hiked domestic prices for all its listed products, some by over $100/tonne (see Kallanish 29 August).
