Turkey’s Kardemir decreases billet, rod prices
Turkish long steel producer Kardemir opened billet and wire rod sales on Wednesday at lower dollar-denominated prices, Kallanish notes.
According to the company's new price list, 150mm square billet decreased by $25/tonne to $575-580/t, compared to the previous list issued on 14 June at $600-605/t.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
