Turkish mills' domestic rebar prices move down

Turkish mills have revised down their prices of rebar for the domestic market as scrap import prices are easing and the lira is recovering, while demand remains weak, Kallanish notes. Scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has reduced its 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm rebar prices each by TRY 90/tonne ($20/t) to TRY 2,950/t, TRY 2,960/t (661$/t) and TRY 2,970/t on 30 May.
