Turkish mills raise rebar prices as lira depreciates
Turkish long steelmakers have raised their prices of rebar for the domestic market as the lira slumped to a new record-low this week, notes Kallanish.
Scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas' 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is now offered at TRY 2,750/tonne ($657/t), TRY 2,760/t and TRY 2,770/t respectively, with effect from 11 April.
