Turkish pipe exports inch up in 2018
Turkish welded pipe exports declined -9% on-year in December 2018 to 164,501 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value, however, was $843.6/tonne versus $740.5/t in December 2017.
The most-exported product was rectangular hollow sections under HS code 730661 whose shipments plummeted -52% to 46,023t. The main buyers were Iraq and the UK with 9,835t and 9,084t respectively, down -71% and down -…
