Turkish steel exports hit 1.5-year high in September
Turkish steel exports soared 96.4% on-year in September to 2 million tonnes, the highest monthly export figure for 1.5 years, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Exporters’ Association (CIB). Their value rose 95% to $1.4 billion.
Exports in the nine months through September thus rose 12.5% on-year to 14.7mt. Their value surged 34.1% to $10.97 billion.
