Turkish welded pipe exports inch up in April
Turkish welded pipe exports increased 2% on-year in April to 146,034 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was $752/tonne versus $800/t in April 2018.
The most-exported product was rectangular hollow sections whose shipments abroad actually fell -1% to 66,072t. Iraq took in 15,267t, up almost four-fold on-year. Romania and the UK took in 13,002t and 10,903t respectively, down -8% and down …
