UAE mills increase May rolling rebar quotes
United Arab Emirates' integrated mill and market maker Emirates Steel (ESI) has increased its domestic 10-40mm (BS4449:2005 grade GR500B) rebar price by AED 50/tonne ($14.5/t) to AED 3,175/t ($865) ex-works theoretical weight for May rolling. 8mm dia rebar quotes are at the same price as long as the quantity of 8mm does not exceed 5% of the total amount ordered, Kallanish understands.
