UAE rebar prices inch down on heavy stocks
In United Arab Emirates, almost all mills have stopped sales since the beginning of last week. In the retail market, 12-32mm diameter rebar prices inched down AED 20-25/tonne due to full stocks and low demand.
12-32mm dia rebar produced by Emirates Steel (ESI) is meanwhile transacted at AED 2,550/t ($694) and other mills' same-specification material is transacted at AED 2,450 ($667) this week, Kallanish notes.
