UK prompt gas price falls on market oversupply
UK prompt natural gas prices were down on Thursday pressured by an oversupplied system, stronger wind production, and expectations of a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) arrival on Sunday.
British day-ahead gas prices were 3.75 pence lower at 24.25 pence per therm (ppt) at 09:19 a.m. GMT. Within-day gas prices meanwhile were down 4.45 pence to 24.25 ppt, Kallanish Steel's sister publication Kallanish Energy reports.
