UK sets record renewables generation in first quarter
The UK produced a record-high volume of electricity from renewable sources in the first quarter of 2017, Kallanish Steel’s sister publication Kallanish Energy reports. Large increases in output from wind and solar power plants, meant that renewable energy production grew by 5.1% in comparison to the same quarter last year.
