Ukraine increases pipe exports in January
Ukraine’s pipemakers increased exports in January compared with the previous month, according to national customs data.
Total volume delivered amounted to 34,650 tonnes, up by 51.6% month-on-month and 66.8% more year-on-year, Kallanish notes. In monetary terms, pipe exports amounted to $45 million, up 43% on-month but 8.3% less on-year.
This came as seaborne shipments supported an overall Ukrainian steel export revival in January (see Kallanish passim).
