Seaborne shipments support Ukraine export revival in January
Ukrainian exports of semi-finished products increased in January amid the ongoing Russian invasion and some blockade of seaports, Kallanish notes.
The country exported 222,200 tonnes of semis, up 2.2-fold compared with December and 5.8-fold on-year. Revenue generated by these shipments increased 2.3 times on-month and 5 times on-year to $105.5 million, according to customs data. Export volumes thus reached their highest level since February 2022, it adds.
