Ukraine reduces steel production in November, iron surges

Ukrainian steel companies decreased production in November amid the Russia-Ukraine war, unfavourable global market conditions and logistical problems, according to national steel association Ukrmetallurgprom. Last month’s crude steel output amounted to 545,000 tonnes, down by 14.4% compared to October, but more by 74% on-year, Kallanish notes.
