Ukraine’s August pig iron production falls, steel increases
Ukrainian steel companies increased production on-year in August despite the Russia-Ukraine war, unfavourable global market conditions and logistical problems, according to national steel association Ukrmetallurgprom. However, most indicators fell versus July.
