Ukraine’s March flats exports increase, longs shipments fell
Ukraine increased flat steel exports in February compared with the previous month, according to national customs data.
Total volume delivered amounted to 148,180 tonnes, up by 8.2% month-on-month and 2.5 times more than March 2023, Kallanish notes. In monetary terms, flats exports increased 17% on-month and were 2.5 times greater year-on-year to $94.8 million.
In January-March, flats exports were 419,400t, up 3.4 times on-year. Revenue trebled on-year to $252.3m.…
