Ukraine’s May pipe exports continue to decrease
Ukraine’s pipemakers decreased exports in May compared with the previous month, according to national customs data.
Total volume delivered amounted to 378,260 tonnes, down by 1.2% on-month, but an increase of 22.7% on-year, Kallanish notes. In monetary terms, pipe exports amounted to $64 million, less by 6.5% on-month, but 10.8% on-year.
In April, pipe manufacturers increased exports to 38,100t, down by 1.4% on-month (see Kallanish passim).
