Ukraine’s steel, iron production rebounds in October

Ukrainian steel companies decreased production in October amid the Russia-Ukraine war, unfavourable global market conditions and logistical problems, according to national steel association Ukrmetallurgprom. Last month’s crude steel output amounted to 572,000 tonnes, up by 2.5% compared to September and more by 80% on-year, Kallanish notes.
