Ukraine’s steel, pig iron production increase in March

Ukrainian steel companies increased production in March despite the Russian-Ukrainian war, unfavourable global market conditions and logistical problems, according to national steel association Ukrmetallurgprom. Last month’s crude steel output amounted to 527,000 tonnes, up by 117% on-year and 24.3% compared to February, Kallanish notes.
