UK’s offshore wind cost at record-low
The UK’s second competitive auction for renewable technologies, known as Contract for Difference (CfD), awarded on Monday a record amount of renewable capacity, halving the cost of offshore wind projects since 2015. But Energy Intensive Users Group (EIUG) director Jeremy Nicholson says the government's announcement may mislead consumers.
