USW ratifies Cliffs deal, US Steel remains open
The United Steelworkers announced on 30 September overwhelming support for the four-year contract between the union and Cleveland-Cliffs' mines in Michigan and Minnesota, Kallanish reports. The contract was ratified with increased wages and investments in facilities.
