Ural Steel develops steel grades for engineering purposes
Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZTZ)’s Ural Steel works has developed and commissioned technology for producing rolled sheet from the new high-strength weldable WeldUS 690 steel, Kallanish notes.
Plans include the development of an even more high-strength wear-resistant steel, HardUS, with the launch of a new branded line on the market, the enterprise claims.
