US adds two rigs, Canada loses 14 on-week
The US added two active rigs during the week ended 19 April whilst Canada dropped 14 rigs, Kallanish learns from oil services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count totals 619, a decrease of 134 from the same period in 2023. Of the total, 511 are oil rigs, 106 are gas rigs, and two are miscellaneous rigs.
