US, Canada rig counts continue to rise
The US and Canadian rig counts rose for another week, according to the latest Baker Hughes data reviewed by Kallanish.
The US rig count increased for a fourth consecutive week, rising by seven week-on-week to 528 during the week ended, 1 October, 2021. Compared to year-ago levels, the US count is up by 262.
Oil rigs increased by seven, while the number of gas rigs was steady w-o-w.
