Brazil lauds US revocation of welded pipe duties
The US has decided to no longer apply trade measures on Brazilian welded tubes and pipes, Kallanish notes.
The Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) makes reference to the US International Trade Commission (USITC) decision announced during the first days of January.
Brazilian welded non-alloy steel tubes and pipes had been levied with a 103.4% ad valorem duty in the US since 1992.
