US lifts Korean cold-rolled duties
The US Department of Commerce has determined that South Korean steelmakers are not dumping cold-rolled coil into the US market, Kallanish learns from a note in the Federal Register.
The department singled out two Korean steelmakers for an administrative review last year. These were Posco, which was given an anti-dumping duty of 2.68% as the result of an investigation last May, and Hyundai Steel, which was subject to duties of 36.59%.
