US manufacturing index increases in February
According to data gathered by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), economic activity in the US manufacturing sector rose from January to February, Kallanish reports. In the month of February, the ISM's purchasing managers index (PMI) registered at 60.8%, up 2.1% from January's reading of 58.7%.
