US manufacturing index indicates growth during March
According to data gathered by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), economic activity in the US manufacturing sector rose from February to March, Kallanish reports. In the month of March, the ISM's purchasing managers index (PMI) registered at 64.7%, up 3.9% from February's reading of 60.8%.
