US metal shipments continue to rise in June
US shipments of both primary and fabricated metal products continued to rise in June from May, Kallanish learns from data gathered by the US Census Bureau.
According to the US Census Bureau's monthly advance durable goods report, shipments of preliminary metals rose 2.9% in June to $23 billion from $22.4 billion in the prior month. Similarly, shipments of fabricated metal products rose 0.8% to $33.7 billion last month from $33.4 billion in May.
