US mill output dips slightly
The latest data supplied by the American Iron and Steel Institute shows raw steel production in the US dipping slightly last week.
US mills produced 1.87 million short tons of raw steel during the week ending 23 October. This was a slight drop from output the week before of 1.882m st but a 20.7% rise from year-ago levels.
