Raw production creeps down in US

US raw steel production decreased on-week in the week ended 25 March, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Production reached 1.68 million short tons during the week with a capability utilisation of 75.1%, down 0.4% from the previous week, when utilisation was 75%, and down 1.8% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 75.4%.
