US raw steel production increases on-week
Weekly raw steel production in the US for the week ended 24 February was 1.727 million short tons with a capability utilisation rate of 77.8%, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute. Raw steel production increased 0.3% week-on-week. In the week ended 17 February, raw production was 1.721m st and utilisation was 77.5%.
