US rigs rise by 12, Canada up 3
Both the US and Canadian rig counts increased in the week ended 13 November, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count increased by 12 net rigs to 312, down 494 from the equivalent week last year.
Rigs geared for oil production increased by 10, while rigs geared for natural gas production increased by two.
Texas led the notable net gains by state with six. Ohio posted the lone net loss by state with one. …
