US sheet prices slide on-week
US hot rolled coil prices are down to $1,040-1,060/short ton from $1,060-1,080/st a week ago, and cold rolled coil prices have dropped to $1,270-1,290/st from $1,290-1,320/st last week, Kallanish reports.
Prices continue to decrease as demand remains slower than in a typical first quarter, according to market participants.
