US steel construction input prices fall in December
Iron and steel construction input declined at the end of last year, suggests an analysis of the Bureau of Labor Statistics' (BLS) producer price index by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
According to BLS' data, both iron/steel and steel mill product prices fell in December, by 0.8% and 2.7%, respectively. In an on-year comparison, both iron/steel and steel mill product input prices remain down below last year's levels. Steel construction …
