US Steel files NRLB complaints against USW
US Steel has filed complaints with the National Labor Relations Board against the United Steelworkers union and specifically against the USW Local 1066. Local 1066 represents the West side of the Gary Works steel mill.
USW and US Steel extended worker contracts after they expired on 1 September. However, the two sides have been working to come to an agreement on the permanent terms of the USW contract, Kallanish notes.
