US Steel to build DRI plant in Minnesota
US Steel plans to begin construction of a direct-reduced iron plant at one of its two Minnesota Ore operations facilities, Keetac or Minntac, this fall. The company plans to supply DR-grade pellets for its own blast furnaces, and potentially supply other producers, learns Kallanish.
