US Steel plans to appeal Clairton emissions fine
US Steel plans to appeal a $1.9 million fine issued for emissions from the steel producer’s Clairton facility in Pennsylvania, Kallanish reports.
The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based steelmaker says that Clairton, part of Mon Valley Works, has been collaborating with local health authorities to control emissions.
