US Steel expects higher Q3 earnings, softening market
Pittsburgh-based steel producer US Steel has issued its third-quarter guidance with earnings per diluted share now estimated in a range of $1.10-1.15 and adjusted Ebita of approximately $550 million, Kallanish learns.
In the third-quarter of 2022, Ebita for US Steel was $508 million, with per-diluted-share value of $1.90-1.95. In the second quarter of 2023, US Steel delivered earnings of $1.89 per diluted share and adjusted net earnings of $477m.
