Usiminas steel, mining output falls in 2023
Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas)’s fourth-quarter crude steel production rose. Rolled products output, however, declined, the company states in its latest earnings report monitored by Kallanish.
The company's mining arm, Mineração Usiminas (Musa), saw its iron ore production fall both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year in Q4.
