USW, Cliffs ratify four-year labour contract
The United Steelworkers (USW) labour union has ratified a new four-year agreement with iron ore supplier Cleveland-Cliffs, covering 1,800 workers at four mine in Michigan and Minnesota.
The previous agreement expired on 1 October. The new agreement is in effect till 30 September, 2022, Kallanish understands.
